The A.B.A. Annual Easter Egg Hunt
March 19th, 2016

Easter Egg Hunt

The 11th Annual Easter Egg Hunt was a huge success! Thank you to all the residents of Armada and surrounding areas that were able to make it out for the event regardless of the cold weather.

The Easter Egg Hunt is sponsored every year by the Armada Business Association, as well as help from the Armada Fair Board. We were able to fill thousands of eggs by hand this year with the help of many volunteers.

Even though the temperatures were pretty chilly, that didn't stop the excitement of hundreds of kids waiting to get their hands on the eggs and candy in their mouths. After a brief introduction from Ben Delecke, the children were divided up into separate areas based on age. We often get asked why we do this and not just let them go all at once.

This is so that all the smaller, younger children get a fair chance to get candy and don't miss out on the fun. After the younger kids go, we then let an older group go, and then finally the older kids.

The event also featured a visit from the Easter Bunny that brought even more candy and treats fir the children. The Easter Bunny sat for the entire event in order to let any child that wanted a photo opportunity to get their turn.

If you are new to the area and would like to attend the next Easter Egg Hunt at the Armada Fair Grounds, please visit this site to get up tp date details about when, and what time the event will take place. The event is free to all children ages 10 and under and is always fun for everyone. Parents be sure to bring your cameras.
